Celebrity Book Club Update: December 2020

The last month of the year is always a bit of a weird one in the world of books. The “best of” lists are out, the publishing of new releases slow down a bit, people are putting out gift guides and gift books and recommendations for what to buy your bookish friend, your uncle, your long lost nephew, and it can be a lot. Regardless, the book clubs carry on.

Here’s what folks are reading this month:

Reese Witherspoon X Hello Sunshine - The Chicken Sisters, by KJ Dell’Antonia

goop Book Club (Gweneth Paltrow) - The Shadow King, by Maaza Mengiste

Belletrist (Emma Roberts) - The Invisible Life of Addie LaRule, by V. E. Schwab

Read With Jenna (Jenna Bush Hager) - The Bluest Eye, by Toni Morrison

#readwithmc (Marie Claire) - Cobble Hill, by Cecily von Ziegesar

Girls Night In Newsletter - The Death of Vivek Oji, by Akwaeke Emezi
