20 books I'm excited about in 2020

One could argue that one of the most fun things about a new year of books is picking out the ones you’ll be most excited about. Like getting excited to see movies that don’t come out for a while. But there’s no trailer - actually I think I’ve seen some book trailers before but that’s a different story.

Anyway, here are 20 of the books I’m most excited about that are coming out in 2020:

4. Anna K: A Love Story, by Jenny Lee - out March 3

5. The Circus, by Jonas Karlsson - out January 28 (I enjoyed this authors previous book, The Invoice)

6. Auntie Poldi and the Handsome Antonio, by Mario Giordano - out May 5

7. The Glass Hotel, by Emily St. John Mandel - out February 15

8. Network Effect, by Martha Wells - out May 5

9. All Adults Here, by Emma Straub - out May 5

10. My Calamity Jane, by Cynthia Hand (and others) - out June 2

11. Party of Two, by Jasmine Guillory - out June 23
